- Synthesize theoretical basis on security and safety for tourists, study the concepts of security and safety, from different perspectives on safety for health, life, property of tourists on means of transport, accommodation, entertainment, food and the role of security and safety for society as well as for tourists.

- Research and evaluate the current situation and causes of security and safety issues for tourists during their travel in Hanoi. Comprehensively evaluate factors affecting security and safety issues in the areas of accommodation services, transportation, food and beverage, and entertainment when traveling to Hanoi.

- The thesis has identified the main causes of insecurity and safety for tourists: Objective causes due to weather, climate, epidemics, biology, politics, theft.
