- This study synthesizes the theoretical basis of security and safety for tourists, exploring concepts of security and safety from different perspectives regarding the safety of health, life, and property of tourists on transportation, accommodation, entertainment, food, and the role of security and safety for society as well as for tourists.

- To investigate and assess the current state and causes of security and safety issues for tourists during their travels in Hanoi. To comprehensively evaluate the factors affecting security and safety in various service sectors such as accommodation, transportation, food, and entertainment when traveling in Hanoi.

- The thesis has identified the main causes of insecurity and safety issues for tourists as: objective causes such as weather, climate, diseases, animals, politics, and theft.

Theft. Subjective causes include the awareness of tourism company managers, tourists, physical and technical infrastructure, transportation operators, service personnel, etc.

- The thesis also investigated the factors contributing to tourist safety issues, stemming from business services such as: a lack of rescue and emergency equipment, fire safety equipment, emergency exits, first aid, food safety and hygiene, and inadequate business management in areas such as transportation, accommodation, food and beverage, entertainment, and healthcare. As a result, many tourists visiting Hanoi still experience negative impacts on their mental health, physical well-being, lives, and property.

- Synthesis the rationale for the safety and security of tourists, to learn the concepts of safety and security, under the different angles of safety for health, life and property of tourists on transportation, accommodation, recreation, food security and the role of social safety as well as for tourists.

- Find out evaluate the present situation the cause of safety security problems for tourists in cruise tourism in Hanoi. Integrated Assessment of factors affecting safety security issues in fields of accommodation services, the transportation, the food, the entertainment, when traveling Hanoi.

- The thesis has identified the main cause of preservation safety for tourists: Objective reasons due to weather, climate, diseases, biological, political, theft. Subjective reasons because of the sense of travel management companies, tourists, infrastructure technical material, the transport drivers, waiters…

- The thesis also sought to understand the factors causing unsafe for travelers, from business services such as: lack of equipment and rescue, fire fighting, emergency exits, first hygiene aid and food safety, business management services in the field of transport, accommodation, catering, entertainment, health care is still not good. So there are still many tourists to visit Hanoi disturbingly affected psychologically, health, life and property.

The problem ensuring the safety and security of tourists will be better, attracting many tourists to contribute to the building industry "smokeless industry" and growing to meet the requirements of tourism development capital Hanoi.
