10. Summary of the thesis results:

Based on its theoretical foundation, this study investigates the sexuality of young people aged 18-25 in Hanoi. While sexuality encompasses many aspects of a person's life, the research focuses on two major facets of human sexual life: gender and sexual life.

Biological background is a very important factor in the gender identity of young people aged 18-25 in Hanoi, with a large proportion of young people relying on this criterion to determine their gender. This result is consistent with the hypothesis put forward by the study. Important indicators in determining gender based on biological background include factors such as: physical background, chromosomes, genetic inheritance, and hormonal factors.

Young people aged 18-25 in Hanoi primarily identify their gender as a product of innate factors, with acquired factors considered less important in the gender identification process. Innate factors encompass various aspects of biological background.

Emotional factors are a crucial psychological element that helps young people aged 18-25 in Hanoi determine their gender identity. Emotions help young people define their gender through internal feelings that lean towards a gender associated with feelings of love. These gender-defining emotions also include indicators of tendencies and characteristics of gender stereotypes (including preferences, styles, and gender trends).

The majority of young people in this study have had premarital sexual relationships and support the view that premarital sex is acceptable. They see it as an integral part of a romantic relationship, even before marriage. They also consider premarital sex as proof of their love, a test before entering married life. This differs from traditional views that previously considered premarital sex a taboo in society. This situation is partly due to cultural exchange and the strong adoption of Western culture in recent years.

Thus, the sexual life of young people is very diverse and multifaceted in many aspects of sexual expression. In terms of gender, there are always certain trends within the research group, ranging from biological and psychological to socio-cultural factors. Each factor plays an important role in determining the gender of young people. The research results obtained coincide with previous studies on the components of sexuality in terms of gender expression. The sexual life of young people aged 18-25 in the research group in Hanoi is also undergoing a shift towards a new form in a society where traditional values are gradually fading, highlighting a modern, civilized culture with many diverse and less fixed forms.

11. Practical applications:

Professionals can use the value of this research to examine and understand young people from gender perspectives. There are many gender issues in the present era, and the question is how to address them comprehensively. Surely, a single solution to gender issues is unrealistic. No two individuals are alike; there are always unique cases in therapy, and therapists must address these issues. It is possible to use broad indicators of biological, psychological, and socio-cultural backgrounds to differentiate gender issues, especially those guiding patients and clients seeking answers about themselves when they come to therapists. This is a very difficult problem for many generations over the years, placing a heavy burden on psychotherapists as the issues become increasingly complex and diverse. Parents and educators can gain insight and understanding of gender and sexual issues to better understand their children and students. Many parents face significant difficulties and crises when their children are confused about gender and when young people engage in sexual behaviors they have never encountered before. Concern and understanding are necessary to avoid intergenerational conflicts. Avoiding shocks that lead to inappropriate responses can harm the younger generation and the happiness of one's own family; this is also true in education.

10. Summary of theses results:

From theoretical basis, researches and studies on sexuality of young people aged 18-25 in Hanoi, sexuality encompasses many aspects of a person's life. Research only focuses on building on two aspects of human's sexual life including gender and sexual life.

Biological basis is a very important factor in the gender identity of young people aged 18-25 in Hanoi. Most of young people rely on this criterion to determine their gender. This result is consistent with the hypothesis that the research has proposed. Important factors of biological gender-based determination include: body factor, chromosomes, genetics and hormone factors.

Young people aged 18-25 in Hanoi mainly identify their gender as their natured congenitality. The infection factor is less considered as important as the gender identification process. Congenital problems include biological basis.

Emotions are an important psychological factor that helps young people aged 18-25 in Hanoi identify their gender. Emotions help define young people's gender through internal feelings towards a gender related to emotions about love. Gender-sensitive emotions also include trends and characteristics of gender patterns (including preferences, styles, and gender trends).

As per the study, young people mostly have sex before marriage and they are oriented to the concept of having sex before marriage. They consider it as a factor associated with love. They also consider pre-marital sex as a testimony to prove their love, a trial before moving on to married life. This is different from the traditional notions that pre-marital sex is a taboo in society. The cause of this situation is partly due to the strong cross-cultural and Western cultural reception in recent years.

Thus, the sexual life of young people takes place very diverse and polymorphic in many aspects of sexuality. In terms of gender, there is always a certain tendency among the studied young group that extends from biological, psychological to socio-cultural. Each of these factors plays an important role in determining the gender of young people. The results obtained coincide with previous studies on the constituents of sexuality in terms of gender reflection. Sexual life among young people aged 18-25 of the research in Hanoi is also moving forward to a new form of a society where traditional values are gradually being blurred, a modern civilization culture with a diverse variety of colors is emerging and less fixed.

11. Practical applicability:

Experts can rely on the value of this study to look at young people in terms of gender perspectives. There are many gender issues in the current time, how to thoroughly solve it. Surely, having a common solution to address gender issues is not possible. No individual is like any other. There are always individual cases in therapy and therapists have to deal with these problems. It is possible to base on comprehensive indexes on biological, psychological, socio-cultural foundations to separate gender issues, especially those guiding when patients and clients come to seek therapists and get the answers about themselves.

This has been a very difficult problem for many generations over the years, the burden placed on psychotherapists as problems become more complex and diverse. Parents who work in education can recognize and understand gender issues, sex issues to better understand their children, as well as understand their students. Many parents experience big problems and crises when their children are ambiguous in gender recognition, when young people have sexual acts they have never seen before. Care and understanding are the right things to do and must be done to avoid cross-generational conflicts. Avoid shocks that lead to inappropriate behaviors that can harm the younger generation and the well-being of their families, which is also true in education.
