10. Summary of the thesis results:

Within the framework of this research, the thesis has achieved the following results:

First isBuilding upon the achievements of previous studies, this work identifies the theoretical and legal basis related to gender stereotypes and the role of the press in addressing this issue.

SecondBased on a survey of three online newspapers, Phunuvietnam.vn, Giadinh.net.vn, and Tienphong.vn (in 2018), this thesis partially describes the current state of prejudice against women in Vietnamese online newspapers. It primarily identifies the types of prejudice against women in online newspapers and the ways in which they are conveyed.

Third,This thesis proposes several solutions to help improve the current stereotypes about women in Vietnamese online newspapers. The thesis offers both general solutions and solutions tailored to specific target groups.

11. Practical applications:

This thesis will help online news sites assess the current state of articles containing biases against women and apply appropriate solutions to reduce gender bias in journalism, contributing to the struggle for gender equality in society.

The thesis achieved the following results:

Firstly,inheriting the research achievements of previous studies, identifying the theoretical and legal basis related to gender bias as well as the role of the press in this issue.

Secondly,Based on the actual situation of survey on 03 online newspapers, Phunuvietnam.vn, Giadai.vn and Tienphong.vn (2018), the thesis has described the current situation of prejudice on women in Vietnam online newspaper today. It mainly points out the prejudices against women in the online newspaper and the form of transmission.

Thirdpropose a number of solutions to improve the stereotypes about women in Vietnam online newspaper today. The thesis has presented general solutions and solutions for each specific target group.

The thesis will help online newspapers to assess the status of articles that are biased against women and apply appropriate solutions to limit gender bias in the press, contributing to the struggle for gender equality in society.
