Within the framework of research and thesis, the following results were achieved:
One is, inheriting the research results of previous research works, determining the theoretical and legal basis related to the issue of gender bias as well as the role of the press in this issue.
Two is, based on the actual survey situation on 03 electronic newspapers, Phunuvietnam.vn, Giadinh.net.vn and Tienphong.vn (in 2018), the thesis has partly described the current status of prejudice against women in Vietnamese electronic newspapers. It mainly points out the types of prejudice against women in electronic newspapers and the form of transmission.
Third,Propose some solutions to improve the prejudice against women in Vietnamese electronic newspapers today. The thesis has proposed general solutions and solutions for each specific group of subjects.
11. Practical application:
The thesis will help online newspapers assess the current situation of articles with prejudice against women and apply appropriate solutions to help limit gender prejudice in the press, contributing to the fight for gender equality in society.
