This study provides a general overview of related concepts such as the definition of existential sentences in Chinese and Vietnamese, their classification, and common existential sentence patterns. It presents detailed survey and statistical results on some of the most common existential sentence types in both languages, including complete and incomplete existential sentences (one of the three parts omitted). We have compiled a comparative table outlining the methods of translating existential sentences from Chinese to Vietnamese. Through analytical examples, we have drawn some important conclusions, which can be considered as some principles or "skills" for translating this type of sentence in both languages.
