Cadastral archives are specialized documents, the result of land surveying and registration, containing complete information about each land parcel to serve state management of land use, and possessing value in many aspects. Cadastral archives are diverse in type and rich in content, encompassing various documents such as those created during surveying, initial registration, land change registration, issuance of land use right certificates, cadastral maps, land registers, land registers, land change tracking registers, and copies of land use right certificates.

The reasons include a lack of guiding documents, inadequate qualifications of archival staff, failure to submit documents to historical archives, poor assessment of document value, and inappropriate document classification methods.

Organizational and management solutions include: guiding and organizing the implementation of documents on land cadastral archiving, training human resources for land cadastral officials and land cadastral archiving personnel, investing in infrastructure, and building additional land cadastral archiving rooms.
The group of operational solutions includes measures such as developing a detailed classification plan for cadastral documents, improving cadastral records, applying a table of retention periods for cadastral archive documents, and developing tools for searching cadastral archive documents.
