The thesis focuses on the development process of the cooperation in some fields such as politics, culture- education, national defence, and etc… between Son La province (Viet Nam) and the Southern provinces of Laos from 2000 to 2015. In addition, some relationship obstacles and solutions are given to promote the bilateral relationship between Son La and the Southern provinces of Laos.
