- The thesis analyzed general theoretical issues regarding social consensus from the perspective of Political Science.

- The thesis focused on clarifying the fundamental aspects of building social consensus in Vietnam, specifically:

+ Clarify the content and role of social consensus in social development.

+ Clarify Ho Chi Minh's fundamental views on building social consensus and the implementation of social consensus by the Communist Party of Vietnam during the period of national renewal, promoting industrialization and modernization.

+ Analyze and evaluate the achievements and limitations in building social consensus in several areas over the past period.

+ Propose several solutions to strengthen and build social consensus in Vietnam.

11. Practical applications:

This thesis can serve as a research and reference document for interested individuals; grassroots officials and managers; and those directly involved in planning and implementing socio-economic projects and policies in general, and policies on national unity and building social consensus in particular, in our country. At the same time, the thesis can serve as a reference document for research and teaching of political theory subjects in universities, colleges, provincial and city-level political schools, and district-level political training centers in our country.
