- The thesis has focused on clarifying the basic contents of building social consensus in Vietnam, specifically:

+ Clarify the content and role of social consensus in social development.

+ Clarify Ho Chi Minh's basic views on building social consensus and the implementation of social consensus by the Communist Party of Vietnam in the period of national renewal, promoting industrialization and modernization of the country.

+ Analyze and evaluate achievements and limitations in building social consensus in a number of areas in recent times.

+ Propose some solutions to strengthen and build social consensus in Vietnam.
