10. Summary of the thesis results:
Domestic violence is a serious problem in society today, and the issue of domestic violence against women is even more pressing. In this study, the author provides an overview of the psychology of women who have experienced domestic violence and uses a cognitive-behavioral approach, one of the effective therapeutic approaches in supporting women who have experienced domestic violence.
The study results showed that the client's emotional and behavioral problems decreased after the counseling and therapy session. Cognitive behavioral therapy applied in this case achieved certain positive results.
The client has managed to regulate their emotions, gradually reduced suicidal thoughts, achieved psychological balance, and, most importantly, developed skills to prevent domestic violence in the future.
11. Practical applicationsBased on the results obtained through theoretical and practical research in clinical cases, this thesis contributes to demonstrating the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy in psychological intervention for women with psychological trauma due to domestic violence. Through this, it also emphasizes the role and application of psychological therapy in specific therapeutic interventions and cognitive-behavioral therapy in general for individuals with psychological difficulties.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
Domestic violence is considered a serious problem in society nowadays. The prevalence of domestic violence among women has posed several alerting messages more than ever. Within this research, the author has demonstrated the literature review about the psychological aspect of women experiencing domestic violence, and used the cognitive behavioral approach to support them.
The research results showed the client's emotional and behavioral problems decreased after the counseling – psychotherapy. Cognitive behavioral therapy applied in this case has achieved certain effects.
The client has managed to regulate the emotions, decrease the rate of suicidal thoughts, balance the psychological state. Especially, the client's also made clear discussion after the counseling process. Since then, the client has escalated violent acts from her husband.
11. Practical applicability:
Based on theoretical research and clinical application, the thesis has shown the effectiveness of the cognitive behavioral approach in the psychological intervention of women experiencing domestic violence. Furthermore, it also stresses more on the role and the application of psychological therapy, in particular, and of the behavioral cognition, in general, on clients with psychological adversity.
