10. Summary of thesis results:
Domestic violence is a problem in today's society, the situation of domestic violence occurring to women victims is becoming more urgent. In this study, the author has provided an overview of the psychology of women who have experienced domestic violence and used the cognitive-behavioral approach, one of the effective therapeutic approaches in supporting women who have experienced domestic violence.
The results of the study showed that the client's emotional and behavioral problems were reduced after the counseling and therapy course. The cognitive behavioral therapy applied in this case achieved certain results.
The client has regulated emotions, gradually reduced suicidal thoughts, balanced psychology, and especially, the client has formed skills to prevent domestic violence in the future.
11. Practical application: From the results obtained through the process of theoretical and practical research in clinical cases, the thesis has contributed to showing the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy in psychological intervention for women with psychological trauma due to domestic violence. Through that, it also emphasizes the role and application of psychological therapy in individual therapeutic intervention and cognitive behavioral therapy in general for people with psychological difficulties.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
Domestic violence is considered a serious problem in society nowadays. The prevalence of domestic violence among women has posed several alerting messages more than ever. Within this research, the author has demonstrated the literature review about the psychological aspects of women experiencing domestic violence, and used the cognitive behavioral approach to support them.
The research results showed the client's emotional and behavioral problems decreased after the counseling – psychotherapy. Cognitive behavioral therapy applied in this case has achieved certain effects.
The client has managed to regulate the emotions, decrease the rate of suicidal thoughts, balance the psychological state. Especially, the client's also made clear discussion after the counseling process. Since then, the client has escalated violent acts from her husband.
11. Practical applicability:
Based on theoretical research and clinical application, the thesis has shown the effectiveness of the cognitive behavioral approach in the psychological intervention of women experiencing domestic violence. Furthermore, it also stresses more on the role and the application of psychological therapy, in particular, and of the behavioral cognition, in general, on clients with psychological adversity.
