On the basis of such comparison, we also hope to point out and analyze the mistakes of Vietnamese learners of English related to the means of emphasizing information.

Through the description and analysis of the means of emphasizing in English and Vietnamese, the similarities and differences between the means of emphasizing expressed through the use of particles in the two languages will be pointed out. Those similarities and differences show how the characteristics of the language type have influenced the use, thereby highlighting the relationship between the form and the content of linguistic events and phenomena.
