11. Summary of thesis results:
This thesis explores and describes in detail the structural model and some issues related to emphatic particles in English in relation to Vietnamese. With this objective in mind, the thesis includes the following research contents:
- We attempt to establish several forms of expressing meanings that can correspond in both languages, stemming from the use of emphatic particles in English, compared with their Vietnamese equivalents. To the extent possible, we will try to model formulas for expressing meaning using particles, helping learners preserve the emphasized meaning when translating an English utterance into Vietnamese or vice versa. Based on such comparative analysis, we also hope to identify and analyze errors made by Vietnamese English learners related to the means of emphasizing information.
Our thesis aims to investigate the means of emphasizing information in English and Vietnamese through particles. By describing and analyzing the means of emphasis in English and Vietnamese, the similarities and differences between these means of emphasis, as expressed through the use of particles in the two languages, will be highlighted. These similarities and differences show how the characteristics of each language type influence usage, thereby highlighting the relationship between form and content of linguistic events and phenomena. With these results, the thesis hopes to contribute to improving the quality of English teaching for Vietnamese speakers, and to avoid errors in language use and translation.
12. Practical applications:
- The thesis also applied several new achievements in linguistic theory, primarily those within the realm of pragmatics, to conduct a pragmatic analysis and research process, such as modality, presupposition, implicature, implied meaning, context, and speech acts (oral and indirect). In this process, factors such as the speaker and listener are also utilized and cited when necessary. Simultaneously, this application has allowed the thesis to analyze and explain, to some extent, specific content related to the meaning of emphatic particles that are often difficult to grasp and explain in detail.

Summary results of the thesis:
Thesis researched, described in detail the structural model as well as a number of issues highlighted in grants from English to Vietnamese contacts. For this purpose, the thesis includes the following research contents:
- We try to establish some forms of expressions of meanings that would correspond in both languages, derived from the use of stressed - focus words in English , compared with the equivalent in Vietnamese. To the extent possible, we will try to model the expressions of stress - focus words, the school can help preserve the meanings of emphasis that you want to switch a spokesperson English to Vietnamese or the other way round back, from Vietnamese to English. On comparative basis so we hope to point out and analyze the errors of the Vietnamese people to learn English related to the media that emphasizes information.
Our thesis wants to examine the means of emphasizing information in English and Vietnamese through stressed - focus words. By describing and analyzing the media emphasized in English and Vietnamese, the similarities and differences between the means of emphasized expressed through the use of stressed - focus words of these languages to be highlighted out. Similarities and differences which indicate the characteristics of the type of language have influenced how to use, thus highlighting the relationship between form and content of language contexts. As a result, the thesis hopes to partly contribute to improving the quality of teaching English to Vietnamese people and help them to avoid these mistakes in the use of this language and translation.
12. The possibility of practical application:
Thesis also uses some new achievements in language theory mainly on the extent of achievement of pragmatics to conduct process analysis such as modal, presupposed, discourse, implied, contextual, behavioral language (in words, indirectly). In particular, factors including the speaker, the listener ... also be applied, invoked in the case of necessity. Moreover, this work has also allowed dissertation analyzes, partly explaining the specific content related to meaning of stressed - focus words and still makes people feel difficult to grasp, difficult to explain in a specific way.
