Based on theoretical and practical research on self-assessment of competence and its influence on workers' work efficiency, the research results show that: Workers rate low on avoidance of difficulties in work and abandonment of work and rate average on perseverance, effort in work and efficiency in work. The origin of negative physical states has the strongest impact on self-assessment of professional competence in the opposite direction. The origin of social learning has a positive impact on self-assessment of professional competence. Workers' personal experiences not only do not contribute to increase but tend to decrease self-assessment of professional competence. The origin of emotional states and encouragement from people around have no connection with self-assessment of professional competence. Workers perceive their social competence at an average level in all three aspects: 1/ Willingness to participate in a work group, 2/ Ability to control emotions, 3/ Ability to establish and maintain relationships with colleagues. The study also showed that all four sources proposed by Bandura are correlated with workers' self-assessment of social competence in the working environment. In particular, the source of social learning has the strongest influence, followed by the source of emotional states, encouragement from superiors, and personal experiences. In particular, the source of negative physical states has a negative correlation with self-assessment of social competence in the working environment.
The work efficiency of employees reaches a normal level in its aspects: 1/ Efforts to complete tasks, 2/ Help and cooperation with colleagues, 3/ Compliance with the regulations of the work organization and finally 4/ Protection of the organization's goals. When considering the influence of self-assessment of personal capacity on work efficiency, it shows that self-assessment of social capacity in the working environment has a stronger influence on work efficiency than self-assessment of professional capacity.
From the current situation of self-assessment, the level of influence of sources on self-assessment and the influence of self-assessment on work efficiency, the study proposes some measures to help employees improve their level of self-assessment and achieve better work efficiency.
