The thesis focuses on studying the current status of information literacy of students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Through the survey results, it was found that students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have basic skills in information literacy, but they are still at a basic level, not really effectively applied in the learning and scientific research process.

The thesis is based on the current situation of students' intellectual capacity and the training reality at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to propose solutions to develop intellectual capacity for students.

Introduce the course "Introduction to information competency" to students of the whole school to develop information competency for students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.

Continue to research solutions to develop renewable energy for students to apply to the course "Introduction to renewable energy".

Thesis focused on the reality of : Information literacy for students in University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The result of the investigation has found that students of USSH have basic skills in information literacy, but still was only rudimentary, yet really applied effectively in the process of learning, scientific research.

Thesis is based on the current status of student's information literacy and practical student training in USSH to provide information literacy solutions for student development.
