The thesis focuses on studying the current status of marketing activities at the Institute of Social Science Information, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences. Through the study, it is shown that the Institute of Social Science Information has had basic marketing activities in information - library, but still at a simple level, not really effectively applied to information - library activities at the Institute.
The thesis is based on the current status of marketing activities at the Institute to propose solutions to develop marketing activities at the Institute of Social Science Information, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.

The results of this studying have found that the Institute of Social Science Informatiom has basic marketing operations in information – library, but still was only rudimentary, not yet really applied effectively in this field.
The thesis provides some solutions to promote these marketing operations at the Institute of Social Science Informatiom, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.
