This document provides an overview of the University of Forestry Library. It presents the theoretical and practical basis for the development, organization, and exploitation of internally generated digital resources, including the concept and characteristics of digital resources, internally generated resources, and internally generated digital resources; the concept of developing, organizing, and exploiting internally generated digital resources; the influencing factors, evaluation criteria, and role of developing, organizing, and exploiting internally generated digital resources.
This study analyzes the current state of building, organizing, and utilizing internally generated digital resources at the University of Forestry Library. It examines the development process, including software, standards, tools, and technical procedures applied at the library; and establishes standards, principles, and organizational forms for internally generated digital resources. The product of this development and organization is the collection of internally generated digital resources already utilized by users. The study analyzes the influencing factors to identify the advantages and disadvantages the library faces. Based on this, it proposes solutions to optimize the building, organization, and utilization of internally generated digital resources at the library, such as organizational and management solutions; and professional and operational solutions.
