Based on research into the theoretical issues concerning the leadership role of the ruling party in building and perfecting the State, this thesis develops criteria for the leadership activities of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the process of building and perfecting the Vietnamese State. From there, the thesis identifies the current state of leadership in building and perfecting the State, the challenges it faces, and forecasts the factors impacting the process of leading and perfecting the State in the future.

Based on that, the thesis proposes basic solutions to strengthen the Party's leadership in building and perfecting the State in the coming period.
