The thesis researches to clarify the social portrait and livelihood practices of single mothers in rural areas of the Northeast, specifically in Co To district, Quang Ninh province. On that basis, the thesis aims to supplement some theoretical perspectives on the social portrait of single mothers and their livelihoods. Another purpose of the thesis is to raise some policy implications to improve the livelihoods of single mothers through the research results.
