10. Summary of thesis results:
Japan and Vietnam both have many characteristics of East Asian countries in terms of culture, politics, ideology, especially the influence of Chinese culture. Therefore, I want to research and exploit this topic. I myself am a person who loves Vietnam and likes to learn Vietnamese. I hope that my research can help with foreign language learning between Vietnamese and Japanese.
Based on the history of research on the issue in Japan and in Vietnam and the process of exploration and learning; through a number of research methods such as comparison, contrast, system analysis, and survey statistics, I have carried out this topic.
Japanese Kanji and Sino-Vietnamese characters both originate from Chinese characters, so to this day they still maintain similarities in reading and semantics. Through the system of documents, the main survey includes the following parts:
+ Words similar to Japanese
+ Words that appear in Japanese but have different meanings
+ Words not found in modern Japanese
Focusing on different cases, I tried to study the differences in meaning and differences in grammatical usage for Chinese words used in both Japanese and Vietnamese.
11. Practical application: Application in teaching and learning Vietnamese, supporting the expansion of Sino-Vietnamese vocabulary for foreigners.
