On January 24, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Dao Thanh Truong, Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, met and worked with a delegation from the Institute of Marxism, Guangxi University, China - represented by Associate Professor Dr. Luong Kien Tan, Vice Director, and other members of the delegation.

On January 26, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) successfully organized the scientific conference "The Engaged Spirit of Vietnamese Buddhist Women Past and Present," which attracted the attention of many experts, lecturers, researchers, and students from universities, research institutes, and organizations.

This was the sentiment shared by many students from Nam Dinh and Thai Binh provinces who visited and received advice at the admissions information booth of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) during the program on January 20-21.

On January 19th and 20th, 2024, the Trade Union of Cluster 5 of G5 universities organized a trip to donate gifts to ethnic minority boarding primary and secondary school students in Bac Ai 1 village, De Tham commune, Trang Dinh district, Lang Son province.

On January 18, 2024, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH), the Literature Faculty's Trade Union, in collaboration with the Trade Union of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities, organized a screening of the film "The Returnee" and a seminar on "Applying Multimedia to Teaching the New Textbook Program".

On January 18, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, successfully organized the 2nd International Scientific Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities Issues.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities respectfully announces to students and parents the plan for the first Bachelor's Degree Award Ceremony of 2024 for students who graduated in the fourth batch of 2023. Details are as follows:

The exchange conference between the Training Department and class representatives, held on January 16th and 19th, 2024, attracted the participation of over 800 students from class representatives, youth union branches, and student associations of classes from the QH-2020-X to QH-2023-X cohorts.

On the afternoon of January 15, 2024, the Council of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-USSH held its first meeting with the participation of the leadership of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

On the afternoon of January 15, 2024, representatives from the Board of Directors and heads of functional departments of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) met with a delegation from the Deputy Minister of Europe to introduce the potential and strengths of Hungary and the need for cooperation with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the fields of training and scientific research.

On January 13th and 14th, 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) participated in the 2024 Admissions and Career Guidance Fair in Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces.

This was the main point emphasized by scientists at the Workshop on Developing Regulations for Compiling the Nam Dinh Gazetteer, held on the morning of January 12, 2024, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

The program is free for all students to attend.

In late December 2023, the Faculty of History, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, organized a field trip for all first-year students to Quoc Oai District (Hanoi) and Quang Ninh Province, comprising three groups of approximately 30 students each. This is an annual activity, part of the curriculum for history students, and is given great attention by the University's Board of Directors. On December 26, 2023, following the direction of the Board of Directors, representatives from various departments and the Faculty of History visited and encouraged the history students participating in the field trip.

On January 6, 2024, the closing ceremony of the official survey and evaluation of the quality of three undergraduate programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities took place at the University: Information Management, Library and Information Science, and Tourism and Travel Service Management.
