Strengthening measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the new circumstances.

Monday - March 8, 2021 15:32

Over the past period, thanks to the decisive and effective involvement of the entire political system and society, the Covid-19 pandemic in Vietnam in general, and Hanoi in particular, has been basically brought under control. Based on the directives of the Government, the Ministry of Education and Training, the city of Hanoi, and Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the School requests that all units continue to implement the following:

  1. Prepare and ensure all conditions for COVID-19 prevention and control are met according to regulations, and inform students and postgraduate students (collectively referred to as students) to return to in-person classes from Monday, March 15, 2021.
  2. Continue to vigorously implement directives from higher authorities and the Ministry of Health's "5K" guidelines on COVID-19 prevention and control. Promptly review and compile statistics on students traveling to and from areas with outbreaks (especially in areas currently under lockdown, quarantine, and social distancing measures) to encourage, guide, and require students to declare their health status, get tested, and self-isolate (if necessary) in accordance with the regulations of the Health sector. Simultaneously, implement appropriate measures to support students in effective and high-quality learning, ensuring overall safety.
  3. Continue to suspend activities and events involving large gatherings, sightseeing, and excursions unless absolutely necessary. Important events, conferences, and seminars, when organized, must ensure compliance with COVID-19 prevention and control regulations: temperature checks, mask-wearing, social distancing, and the availability of hand sanitizer.
  4. All staff, faculty, scientists, and students are required to strictly comply with the nationwide health declaration regulations. Individuals will be held legally responsible if they fail to voluntarily declare their health status or make false declarations. This includes those who have traveled to or returned from epidemic areas (as updated at [website address]).https://ncov.moh.gov.vn/) needs to inform the unit's leadership so that the information can be compiled and submitted to the secretary of the School's Steering Committee for COVID-19 prevention and control and relevant departments to immediately implement COVID-19 prevention and control measures as prescribed.
  5. Other matters will continue to be implemented according to Official Letter No. 386/XHNV dated February 26, 2021, from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The University will base its guidance on the evolving situation of the epidemic and directives from higher authorities to provide timely and appropriate instructions.
