8. Major: Clinical Psychology (Applied Orientation). Code: 8310402.
9. Scientific supervisor: Dr. Nguyen Ba Dat - Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
10. Summary of project results:
The project provided an overview of research on introverted disorders in adolescents from various perspectives, including current status, characteristics, causes, assessment methods, and interventions. It also clarified the concepts of introverted disorders such as depression, anxiety, and somatoform symptoms. Assessment methods and intervention procedures based on a cognitive-behavioral approach were presented, providing a scientific basis for clinical cases.
The results from the project show that negative beliefs in teenagers can be formed and reinforced through friendships, family relationships, or information from social media platforms like TikTok. Positive attention techniques are effective in restructuring negative beliefs about oneself and surrounding relationships in teenagers.
Following the intervention, the client transitioned from a state of depression, emotional dependence, and self-harming thoughts to a more stable and adaptable emotional, cognitive, and behavioral state. Learning function, social relationships, and daily living all improved significantly. The client demonstrated greater independence, established positive social support systems, adjusted expectations in important relationships, and increased focus on learning. These changes demonstrate a good therapeutic response and the potential for sustaining these positive outcomes in the future.
11. Practical applicability: It can be applied in practice.
12. Future research directions: None.

8. Major: Clinical Psychology (Applied Orientation). 9. Code: 8310402.
10. Supervisors: PhD. Nguyen Ba Dat (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi).
11. Summary of the findings of the project:
The thesis comprehensively reviews studies on internalizing disorders in adolescents across various aspects such as prevalence, characteristics, causes, assessment, and intervention. The thesis also clarifies the concepts and groups of internalizing disorders, such as depression, anxiety, and somatic symptoms. The assessment methods and intervention procedures based on the cognitive-behavioral approach are also presented, serving as a scientific basis for clinical practice.
The results of implementing the thesis show that negative beliefs in adolescents can be formed and reinforced through peer relationships, family, or information on social networks like TikTok. The technique of positive attention is effective in restructuring negative beliefs about oneself and people around them during adolescence.
Post-intervention results show that the client has transitioned from a state of deep sadness and passivity to a stable, positive mindset regarding emotions, cognition, and behavior. Learning functions, social relationships, and daily activities have all improved significantly. The client now exhibits higher self-reliance, establishes a positive social support network, adjusts expectations in important relationships, and increases the ability to focus on studies. These changes demonstrate a high degree of uniqueness, excellent treatment response, and the potential to maintain this positive outcome in the future.
12. Practical applicability: Feasible
