- This thesis has re-established the systemic nature of ecotourism in the National Park because the division according to administrative boundaries and districts, along with the management method that tends towards "closed and isolated," has prevented local tourism managers from fully seeing the inherent internal connections in socio-economic aspects, the links due to historical traditions, and the nature of promoting inter-regional resource exploitation, etc.
- The thesis has analyzed the issue from a comprehensive perspective, adhering to the principle of optimizing the integration and exploitation of ecotourism resources, utilizing existing technical infrastructure to build a sustainable ecotourism development relationship.
- The research topic focuses on studying and evaluating the current situation, potential, causes, and development needs of ecotourism, thereby proposing suggestions and solutions for effective ecotourism development within the research scope.
11. Practical applications:
This is the first thesis on the development of ecotourism in U Minh Ha National Park. In addition to the academic concepts, analysis of the current situation, and business aspects, the thesis applies spatial and territorial organization principles to design functional zones and ecotourism resource zoning. Based on this, it proposes the development of specific ecotourism tours, routes, and destinations throughout the park, creating a rational ecotourism network.
