ButRegarding theoretical research

+ Develop a conceptual framework for the topic: The concept of adaptation; adapting to having children; adapting to having children with autism;

+ We assessed the parents' adaptation to the situation of having an autistic child from three perspectives: cognitive, attitudinal-emotional, and behavioral. These factors interact with each other, creating a process of adaptation at various levels in parents. Psychosocial adaptation to the situation of having an autistic child in parents is also manifested in three aspects: cognitive, attitudinal-emotional-behavioral; and behavioral.

Many factors influence the process of parents adapting to having an autistic child. There are two main groups of factors: objective and subjective. The influence of these factors also causes the adaptation process to vary in speed, and can be positive or negative.

ButRegarding practical research:

Practical research results indicate that:

+ The majority of parents in Hanoi adapt to the situation of having a child with autism in a moderate way. Some parents find it difficult to adapt, while others adapt well to the situation of having a child with autism.

The adaptation process at the cognitive level is relatively proactive.

+ The process of attitudinal and emotional adaptation is also positive, with most parents adapting at an average level. Some parents adapt well.

+ The behavioral adaptation process is very difficult for parents; they tend to adapt slowly and sometimes even poorly.

+ The factors influencing the adaptation process to having an autistic child are diverse: education level, ability to withstand pressure, hopes and expectations for the child, the child's gender, age, etc.

In summary, the author has proven the hypothesis put forward at the beginning to be correct.
