The management of media and press related to religion and beliefs is understood within the framework of legal documents regulating religious activities in general and Buddhism in particular. It can be seen that the best management and development of Buddhist media and press aims to benefit people by promoting awareness, changing their thinking, fostering self-awareness and compassion for others, and preserving the environment in the best and most civilized way.

Inheriting and creatively applying the Marxist-Leninist perspective on religion in the new context, Ho Chi Minh and the Communist Party of Vietnam successfully resolved this thorny issue. Two fundamental principles – the thorough respect for freedom of religion and belief, and the implementation of a national unity strategy – were carried out profoundly and consistently.
