10. Summary of the thesis results:
This thesis explores the urban theme in contemporary women's short stories through the works of Nguyen Thi Thu Hue and Di Li. Specifically, it analyzes urban life and people in the short stories of Nguyen Thi Thu Hue and Di Li (characteristics of urban dwellers, urban tragedies and aspirations, urban ecological and cultural issues); and simultaneously analyzes some of the methods used by these two writers to express the urban theme (the art of plot construction, character development, and language). Through this, the thesis reveals the commonalities and unique characteristics of each writer in expressing the urban theme in the short story genre.
11. Practical applications: This serves as a reference for research on the short stories of Nguyen Thi Thu Hue and Di Li, and contemporary Vietnamese literature on urban themes in general.
