With fierce competition between media types, causing the earliest type of press to step out of the "golden age", instead, print newspapers are facing great challenges and require a strong revolution to renew themselves in the era of technology 4.0.
Through a survey of local print newspapers, we have proposed two groups of solutions related to management solutions and solutions mainly related to improving the professional quality and political capacity of the team of journalists, improving the effectiveness of the two-version editorial model (print and electronic newspapers), building a team of quality collaborators and strengthening the leadership of the Party and the management of the State in the propaganda of new rural construction. We hope that these solutions will contribute more "advice" to help print newspapers in the provinces of the Southwest in the period when there is a need for a revolution to renew themselves, take advantage of opportunities, and turn challenges into opportunities. That is to find a new direction in the new context.
Seizing and making good use of opportunities, along with appropriate strategies, will create conditions for the print newspaper to develop stably and sustainably. So that local print newspapers not only do a good job of propagating the Party and State, but also become a lively, close forum and build trust with the public, especially rural people. From there, there will be practical and effective contributions to the national target program on new rural construction.
