11. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis surveys the quality of the television news program of Vinh Long Radio and Television Station. Based on this, it evaluates the strengths and weaknesses and proposes solutions to improve the quality of local television news programs in the future.

In this work, the author has focused on issues such as: improving the quality of human resources through training, coordinating information exchange, innovating program structure and presentation methods, etc., to suit the development trends of the 4.0 industrial revolution and meet the increasingly high information needs of the audience.

The analyses and assessments of the current situation, along with the solutions and proposals put forward by the author to improve the quality of television news programs, are entirely appropriate to the actual conditions of local broadcasting stations in general, and Vinh Long Broadcasting Station in particular. The thesis helped examine the quality of Vinh Long Radio and Television Station's television news programs. Its results will be used to evaluate the advantages and limitations, to suggest solutions for improving the quality of local television news programs in the future.

In the thesis, the author has focused on issues such as training courses to improve the quality of human resources, information coordinating and exchanging, program structure renovating, ways of expression, etc. which is suitable for the development trends of the forth industrial revolution, satisfying the increasing information demand from the audience.

The analysis and evaluation of the current situation, the solutions and proposals by the author to improve the quality of the television news programs are completely consistent with the practical conditions of local radio and television stations in general, Vinh Long Radio and Television Station in particular. It's also highly applicable and suitable to the industry's development roadmap under Decision numbered 1431/QD-TTg on October 26, 2018 of the Prime Minister which approved the network planning of state-run units in the sector of information and communication until 2021, vision for 2030.
