10. Summary of thesis results:

Based on the analysis of the language characteristics of primary school students and the limitations of the current primary school grammar teaching program, the thesis proposes a design of knowledge and skills for teaching grammar at the primary level.

In terms of vocabulary, it is necessary to pay attention to the knowledge of teaching "language" and the skills of identifying language types and dictionary lookup skills.

In terms of syntax, it is necessary to include content about modality, politeness and how to form and use sentence types according to the purpose of speech.

Thereby, the thesis also provides a prototype design based on the content of knowledge and skills designed above.

11. Practical application:

The research results of the thesis can be used as reference material for educators in the process of researching new Vietnamese language programs and textbooks after 2015.

If possible, further research and experiments will be conducted to verify the effectiveness of the designed knowledge and skills.

11. Summary of these results:

On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of pupil's language and inadequacies of grammar programm in primary school up to now, our thesis designs knowledges and skills to teach grammar in primary schools.

In terms of lexicology, we pay attention to teaching “syllable” and skills to define the kinds of syllables and to check dictionnary.

In terms of syntax, we emphasize on teaching modals, politeness and on constructing and using sentences in speech – oriented focus. Thereby, the thesis gives a sample design based on knowledge and skills mentioned above.

12. Practical applications:

The results of the thesis can be used as references for educators in their research on new curriculum and textbooks of Vietnamese after 2015.

If possible, we will make deeper researches and develop experiments to verify the effectiveness of the design.
