10. Summary of the thesis results:

In the process of international integration, language is the key that helps us unlock new cultures. Alongside popular languages like English, French, and Chinese, Vietnamese is increasingly asserting its position and attracting considerable interest in learning it.

During the process of teaching Vietnamese to foreigners, we have noticed that the teaching and learning of modal words and modal idioms is always a matter of concern for international students, due to both its challenging and interesting aspects.

This is a complex phenomenon that has not received sufficient attention in curricula, teaching methods, or interpretations.

Our thesis attempts to provide a more systematic perspective and a simpler concept suitable for international students, thereby offering a more understandable and effective teaching method, making a small contribution to the practical application of teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language.

In the process of teaching Vietnamese for foreigners, we find that teaching and learning modal words, modal idioms are the issues which gain interest because of theirs difficulties and interesting.

This is a difficult issue which is not received sufficient interests in terms of textbooks, teaching methodology and annotation.

Our thesis is trying to picture a systematic overview with concepts which are more simple and suitable with foreign students.
