This thesis clarifies the factors affecting the development of the agricultural economy in Trieu Son district; presents the process by which the Trieu Son District Party Committee applied the policies of the Party and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee in leading the development of the agricultural economy in the district; and provides some observations and assessments on the advantages and limitations, drawing some key lessons from the practical experience of leading the agricultural economic development of the Trieu Son District Party Committee from 2001 to 2010.

The research findings of this project will contribute to clarifying a number of theoretical and practical issues regarding agricultural economic development, and will contribute to implementing the Party's policy of industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas during the period of reform and international integration.
