The thesis has clarified the factors affecting the development of agricultural economy of Trieu Son district; presented the process of Trieu Son district Party Committee applying the Party's policy and Thanh Hoa province Party Committee in leading the development of agricultural economy in the district; made some comments and assessments on the advantages, limitations and drew some main experiences from the practice of leading the development of agricultural economy of Trieu Son Party Committee from 2001 to 2010.

The research results of the topic will contribute to clarifying a number of theoretical and practical issues on agricultural economic development, contributing to the implementation of the Party's policy of industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas in the period of innovation and international integration.

The thesis clarifies factors affecting the development of the agricultural economy in Trieu Son District, the process that Trieu Son District Party applied the policy of the Party and Thanh Hoa Provincial Party on leading the agricultural economic growth in the local area. Besides, the thesis points out some advantages and disadvantages as well as the lessons learned from practical leadership from 2001 to 2010.
