Summary of the results of the thesis: Stress and anxiety disorders are very common in adolescents with special sexual orientations such as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, pansexual or non-gender (LGBT+). This community group often faces factors such as rejection, bullying, discrimination and violence, so they are at high risk of challenges including depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts. In the study on the case of homosexual men with anxiety disorders, the author proposed approaches and assessments, and used cognitive behavioral therapy interventions to provide psychological support to the client.
The research results show that: Clients have reduced anxiety, reduced uncontrolled emotional behaviors and reactions. In addition, it also shows that the role and influence of family factors is not small in the formation of anxiety disorders as well as the results of psychotherapy of clients.
11. Practical applicability: The results of theoretical research and clinical practice have contributed to demonstrating the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy in the intervention of anxiety disorders in the LGBT+ community.
