10. Summary of the thesis results:
Anxiety disorders are becoming increasingly common and affect a diverse range of groups. This thesis provides a research overview to clarify the concept, epidemiology, factors influencing anxiety, and empirical evidence regarding anxiety disorder therapies. The main focus of the thesis is the use of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to treat a case exhibiting symptoms of anxiety disorder. After intervention with the primary goal of reducing anxiety, the client experienced symptom reduction, gained a better understanding of anxiety disorders, and learned about factors that maintain and protect against their specific anxieties. Simultaneously, the client acquired knowledge and skills to identify and cope with anxiety more effectively.
11. Practical applicability: This thesis contributes further evidence showing that cognitive behavioral therapy is an effective treatment method for clients with anxiety, especially generalized anxiety.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis: Anxiety disorder is an increasing concern for the public and affects a variety of backgrounds. This study overview contains identification, epidemiology, influencing factors and evidence-based psychotherapy on anxiety. The main focus of this study is on the application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to a client with anxiety symptoms. After receiving therapy, anxiety symptoms of the client had reduced, the client expanded their knowledge on anxiety disorder and individualized contributing and protective factors. In contribution, the client was provided with knowledge and skills in denial and coping more effectively with anxiety
