10. Summary of the thesis results:
- Starting from a specific parish located in the purely Vietnamese cultural area of Huong Pagoda, the process of cultural transformation in Tuy Hien parish took place on the foundation of indigenous Buddhist culture and ancestor worship beliefs aimed at honoring God.
Conversely, some Catholic rituals have been transformed according to forms of traditional culture in Tuy Hien parish. The thesis sees a very good model of preserving traditional culture in the form of mutual integration between different forms of religion and belief in Vietnam.
- The thesis also presents historical evidence and interview materials showing that the river (Day River) had a significant influence on the formation of Tuy Hien parish. Furthermore, the thesis identifies the role of local patron saints in shaping the cultural values of that parish.
11. Practical applications: This thesis makes a practical contribution to future research in Vietnamese studies by offering an approach based on local deities.
12. Future research directions:
- Continue to expand the topic towards cultural transformation in symbols, traditional cultural rituals, important Catholic holidays, and traditional music. Expand to compare with some neighboring parishes to find elements of "local character" in the Catholic practices of the parishioners.

-From a specific parish case located in the pure Vietnamese culture area, the area of Perfume Pagoda, the process of acculturation in Tuy Hien parish took place with the background of the indigenous culture of Buddhism and ancestor worship. to glorify God.
- In the opposite direction, some Catholic rituals have changed according to the types of traditional culture in Tuy Hien parish. Thesi sees a very good model of preserving traditional culture in the form of the mutual fusion of religions and beliefs in Vietnam.
- The thesis also provides historical evidence and interview documents showing that the river water factor (Day river) has a great influence on the formation of Tuy Hien parish. In addition, the thesis also sees the role of local patron saints in shaping cultural values in that parish.
