- From a specific parish case located in a purely Vietnamese cultural area, the Huong Pagoda area, the cultural assimilation process in Tuy Hien parish took place with the foundation of indigenous Buddhist culture and ancestor worship to honor God.
- On the contrary, some Catholic rituals have been transformed according to the forms of traditional culture in Tuy Hien parish. The thesis sees a very good model of preserving traditional culture in the form of mutual integration between types of religions and beliefs in Vietnam.
- The thesis also presents historical evidence and interview materials showing that the river element (Day River) has a great influence on the formation of Tuy Hien parish. In addition, the thesis also sees the role of local Patron Saints in shaping cultural values in that parish.
11. Practical applicability: The thesis has practical contributions to future research on Vietnamese studies, which is the approach from local deities.
