The thesis has outlined theoretical issues about festivals and traditional festivals, as well as the history of the formation of the Do Temple festival and the architectural space of the Do Temple today. The thesis has also described the Do Temple festival today in general through aspects such as: the time of the festival, the rituals of the festival, the subjects of the festival, the offerings in the festival... and the games taking place in the festival, at the same time, it also stated the changes of the Do Temple festival as well as the causes of those changes.
In addition, the law has stated the roles and values of the festival in the life of Tu Son people, Bac Ninh such as: The role of consolidating and demonstrating the strength of the community; The role of the festival in the economic life of Tu Son people; The role of spiritual education towards the origin; The role of balancing spiritual life; The role of creating and enjoying culture; The role of preserving and transmitting culture, showing gratitude to ancestors.
