Chapter 1. Theoretical basis for standardizing office activities
In chapter 1, the author outlines some general theoretical issues about offices and office activities; theoretical basis and objectives, content and principles, procedures of standardizing office activities; responsibilities in standardizing office activities.
Chapter 2. Current status of standardizing office activities at the Central Regional Branch - National Academy of Public Administration
Based on the scientific foundations presented in Chapter 1, the author conducted a survey, evaluated the current situation and results of standardizing office activities at the Central Regional Branch - National Academy of Public Administration based on 05 criteria in the Evaluation Criteria Framework. To have a comprehensive and objective view of the standardization of office activities, the author conducted a survey of this work at 02 university training institutions in the area. Thereby, the author commented and evaluated the advantages, limitations, and causes of limitations in the standardization of office activities at the Branch.
Chapter 3. Proposing some solutions to improve the efficiency of standardizing office activities at the Central Regional Branch - National Academy of Public Administration
Based on the research and assessment of the current situation in Chapter 2, the author proposes 03 groups of solutions to improve the effectiveness of standardizing office activities at the Central Regional Branch - National Academy of Public Administration. The groups of solutions focus on the following issues: a group of solutions to improve awareness and level of standardizing office activities; a group of solutions on internal regulations; a group of solutions on standardizing regulations, rules, and office operating procedures.
11. Practical application
Firstly, based on the research results in the thesis, the Central Regional Institute can build and standardize working processes to suit the actual conditions of the unit after merging the Quang Nam Branch of Hanoi University of Home Affairs into the Hue Branch of the National Academy of Public Administration.
Second: help the Institute's leaders have more instructions suitable to the reality at the unit in the current period so that the general standardization and the standardization of office activities at the Institute are more effective (for example: include the content of standardizing office activities in the annual plan; develop criteria/standards as a basis for checking and evaluating the results of implementing standards; complete unstandardized contents such as organizing meetings, events, reception; build and declare mission, vision, core values, etc.).
Third: help units under the Institute know how to identify activities that need to be standardized (by regulations/rules/processes) and measures to implement the process of standardizing office activities at the Institute.
Fourth: is an important learning material for research and teaching.
12. Further research directions
Based on the research results in this thesis, in the coming time, the author will continue to research issues related to standardizing office activities throughout the Academy; at the same time, research and develop standard procedures related to office activities that can be applied at the Academy in particular and higher education institutions in general.

In chapter 1, the author outlines some general theoretical issues about offices and office activities; theoretical basis and objectives, contents and principles and procedures of standardizing office operations; responsibility in standardizing office operations.

Chapter 2 Standardization of office operations at Central Regional Branch - National Academy of Public Administration

The solution groups focus on the following issues: the solution group aims to raise awareness and standardization level of office operations; solution group on internal regulations; solution group on standardization of office rules, regulations and operating procedures.

11. Applicability in practice

Firstly: based on the research results in the thesis, the Central Region Branch can have foundation to build and standardize the working processes to match the actual conditions at the unit after the merger of the Quang Nam campus of Hanoi University of Home Affairs to Hue Branch of the National Academy of Public Administration.

Second: help the Branch's leaders to have more instructions in line with reality at the unit in the current period so that the general standardization and standardization of office activities at the Brach can be more effective (for example: putting standardization contents of office into the annual plan; developing criteria/standards as a basis for checking and evaluating the results of implementation of standards; completing contents that have not been standardized such as organizing meetings, events, receptions; formulating and declaring mission, vision, core values...).

Thirdly: help the units of the Branch know how to identify the activities that need to be standardized (by regulations/rules/processes) and measures to implement the standardization process of office activities at the Branch.

Fourth: it is an important material for research and teaching.

12. Further research directions

Based on the research results in this thesis, in the coming time the author will continue to study issues related to standardization of office operations throughout the Academy; At the same time, research and develop standard procedures related to office operations that can be applied at the Academy in particular and higher education institutions in general.
