Chapter 3. Proposing some solutions to improve the effectiveness of standardizing office operations at the Central Region Branch - National Academy of Public Administration.
Based on the research and assessment of the current situation in Chapter 2, the author proposes three groups of solutions to improve the effectiveness of standardizing office operations at the Central Region Branch of the National Academy of Public Administration. These solution groups focus on the following issues: solutions aimed at raising awareness and expertise in standardizing office operations; solutions concerning internal regulations; and solutions concerning the standardization of office regulations, rules, and operational procedures.
11. Practical applications
Firstly, based on the research results in this thesis, the Central Region Branch can use this as a basis to develop and standardize work processes to suit the actual conditions at the unit after the merger of the Quang Nam Branch of the Hanoi University of Interior Affairs into the Hue Branch of the National Academy of Public Administration.
Secondly: to help the Branch Institute's leadership provide more guidance that is relevant to the unit's current situation, so that standardization in general and the standardization of office operations at the Branch Institute in particular can be more effective (for example: incorporating the standardization of office operations into the annual plan; developing criteria/standards as a basis for checking and evaluating the results of implementing the standards; improving areas that have not yet been standardized such as the organization of meetings, events, and reception; developing and declaring the mission, vision, and core values...).
Thirdly: to help units within the Sub-institute understand how to identify activities that need to be standardized (through regulations/rules/procedures) and the measures to implement standardized office operations at the Sub-institute.
Fourthly: it is an important learning resource for research and teaching.
12. Future research directions
Based on the research findings in this thesis, the author will continue to research issues related to standardizing office operations throughout the Academy in the future; and simultaneously research and develop standard procedures related to office operations that can be applied at the Academy in particular and higher education institutions in general.
