10. Summary of thesis results:
Belief and religion are complex issues with a diversity of participants as well as variations and organizational forms in practice; however, they are also indispensable elements in human life. Therefore, the state management of belief and religious activities in general and in Hai Duong in particular still has many shortcomings, management efficiency is not high, there are still many subjects taking advantage of freedom of belief and religion to incite and cause trouble; the issue of building and managing assets for belief and religious organizations still has many shortcomings. The causes of the limitations in state management of belief and religious activities come from many sides. Not only due to the development trend of new religious phenomena in reality but also due to the lack of close coordination between agencies and departments such as: religious and cultural management agencies, land management agencies, local authorities where religious organizations/followers are located... Besides, legal documents related to religion and religious management still need to be supplemented, updated and amended to suit the rapid development of religious activities in practice. The skills to solve religious-related issues of officials working in the religious field need to be trained and improved.
From the above mentioned problems, the author proposes some directions to improve the effectiveness of state management of religious activities in Hai Duong province such as: adjusting legal documents related to state management of religious activities in general and religious activities in Hai Duong province in particular; organizing training for management subjects, innovating management methods in state management organizations; .... In general, with the characteristics of religious activities management, solutions need to be implemented simultaneously, synchronously and need the attention and close supervision of the Party, the State as well as mass organizations.
11. Practical application:
The thesis contributes to clarifying issues on planning, building and implementing policies and laws on state management in general on beliefs and religions in Hai Duong province in particular. Based on the practical work of state management on beliefs and religions in Hai Duong province, other localities can refer to and learn from experience to improve management work.
The thesis can be used as a reference in teaching, research and professional training for reporters and officials working in state management of beliefs and religions at the local level.
12. Further research directions:
Continue to study and research religions and beliefs in Hai Duong in particular and the whole country in general, and at the same time propose solutions suitable to the reality of each religion and belief, so that religious organizations can maximize the spiritual and cultural values ​​as well as material values ​​in the process of building the homeland.
