The thesis "Assessing the quality of library services based on the LibQUAL model at the People's Police Academy" is divided into 03 chapters:
Chapter 1 presents in detail the issues related to library service quality assessment: operationalizing and clarifying the relationship between concepts; providing influencing factors, criteria for library service quality assessment according to the LibQUAL model and the role of library service quality assessment for managers, librarians, and users.
Chapter 2 introduces the Archives and Library Center - People's Police Academy and existing library services. At the same time, it analyzes the factors affecting service quality, and uses the LibQUAL model to evaluate the quality of services in 3 aspects: service impact, information control, and library space. From there, it gives overall comments on the quality of library services.
Chapter 3 provides solutions to improve the quality of existing library services, open new services (disseminating selected information, inter-library loans), improve the quality of factors affecting service quality. Along with that is the proposal for implementation organization for different levels (Ministries, Institutes, Centers).
11. Practical application:
Firstly, the thesis is of great significance to the People's Police Academy when it focuses on the overall assessment of library service quality. Thereby, it provides some recommendations to improve library service quality to meet users' needs.
