The thesis "Applying Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory to motivate university librarians" is divided into 03 chapters. Chapter 1 shows the theoretical basis of Maslow's hierarchy of needs in motivating employees in general and librarians in particular; Chapter 2, from the results collected from the actual survey, the thesis analyzes in depth the current situation of motivating librarians working at the Banking Academy and the University of Commerce; gives comments and assessments on the advantages and limitations of motivating librarians. The thesis has proposed a number of solutions to improve the motivation of librarians at the Banking Academy and the University of Commerce in Chapter 3.
11. Practical application:
Firstly: Based on the research results and evaluation of the thesis on the application of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory in motivating librarians at the Banking Academy Library and the University of Commerce Library, it is the basis for improving the work of motivating librarians of the unit in the future, providing more appropriate and practical directions and instructions.
Second: The thesis can be used as a reference for Vietnamese libraries to build and improve the work of motivating librarians of the units.

Firstly, the research findings and evaluation of the application of Maslow's Hierachy of Needs in motivating the library staff at the library of the Banking Academy and the University of Commerce can be used to improve motivation among staff in academic libraries and help managers to give more practical, appropriate guidance in the future.
Secondly, the thesis can be used as a reference for Vietnamese libraries to create and increase work motivation for academic librarians.
