This thesis clarifies the current situation and difficulties in addressing domestic violence among men in Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province. Simultaneously, using acquired knowledge and skills, it applies individual social work techniques to help violent men: stabilize their psychology, identify the causes and consequences of violence, and equip them with life skills and knowledge to solve their own problems, while also enabling them to participate in social work resources and services for preventing domestic violence.
Based on the research findings, solutions and recommendations are proposed to improve the effectiveness of social work in the field of preventing domestic violence in Hong Hai ward, Ha Long city in particular, and Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province in general.

- Applying individualized intervention techniques to specific situations to help mitigate domestic violence from men and enhance the sustainability of family happiness.

The thesis describes the facts and difficulties of social work regarding males who live in Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province and do violence in their families; at the same time, through knowledge and skills gained during the studying process, to apply the individual social work to help males who do violence with the followings: stabilizing mentality, seeing reasons and consequences of the violence so that to improve knowledge and skills in living in order foe them to resolve their problems as well as participate in forces and social works to prevent violence in family.
From research results, suggestions and solutions to improve efficiency of social work activities for preventing violence in family in Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City in particular and in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province in general.
11. Feasibility of the thesis:
- Applying individual intervention skills in the real situation to limit violence in family caused by males, and to strengthen stabilization of happiness in family.
- Through the real situations, the thesis provides a deep view for conflicts in families who are violent doing for their problems and reactions of participating people for such violence. It is hope that the information will be useful for staffs in charge of social work related to family issues, especially for violence in family, who refer to not only improve their intervention skills but also seek tendency for establishment of appropriate and efficient intervention models for violence in family in specific sociometric situation of Vietnam
