10. Summary of thesis results:
Through research methods, this thesis attempts to assess the true nature of the Vietnam-Laos bilateral relationship, identifying the contributing factors and subsequently formulating solutions to address some issues in the current Vietnam-Laos relationship. Specifically, the author analyzes and evaluates the challenges in the Vietnam-Laos relationship in the current context, the factors weakening some of the existing foundations and pillars of the relationship; and highlights the new situation as difficulties and challenges for Vietnam in its relationship with Laos. The thesis also identifies factors that form the basis for strengthening Vietnam-Laos cooperation if viewed from a comprehensive, multi-dimensional perspective in the current conditions and circumstances. The author also assesses the limitations stemming from the understanding of the Vietnam-Laos relationship, which is primarily based on the results of the heroic struggle for national liberation, shaping the relationship according to outdated thinking from the past, failing to keep pace with the current situation. Based on that, the thesis topic has proposed solutions and measures to address the current Vietnam-Laos relationship in a way that involves innovative thinking, overcoming old limitations; and seizing, utilizing, and developing new opportunities and potentials in Vietnam-Laos relations.
11. Practical applications:
Laos is one of the three countries sharing a common border, holding immense strategic importance to Vietnam's national interests and security. Researching and proposing solutions to enhance Vietnam-Laos relations is highly practical in ensuring and improving Vietnam's interests and security. The research findings of this thesis can serve as a basis for proposing and developing bilateral Vietnam-Laos foreign policy and measures for managing relations with Laos.

The content of the thesis is sufficient in figuring out the reality of the relations between Vietnam and Laos, indicating the reasons for shaping the solutions proposed to address some important issues in the relations between Vietnam and Laos, in the current time. specifically: Analyze, assess the challenges in the Vietnam-Laos relations in the current context, which undermine some of the inherent pillars of the Vietnam-Laos relations; highlighting the new situation opening up conditions to tighten cooperation among two countries; Assessing the cognitive limitations that are paving the way for the Vietnam-Laos relationship in which the two countries have put a lot of weight on the heroic struggles of the two sides in the past, not keeping up with the situation. Based on its, the thesis figured out solutions and measures to handle the current relations between Vietnam and Laos in the direction of grasping, leveraging and properly promoting new opportunities and potentials in the relations between Vietnam and Laos.
11. Practical applicability, if any:
Laos is one of the three countries that have common border with Vietnam, which is of great strategic importance to the interests and national security of Vietnam. Researching and resolving solutions to enhance the relations between Vietnam and Laos has made practical efforts to ensure and raise the interests and security of Vietnam. Throughout the content of the thesis, we can propose a precious bilateral solution in Vietnam - Laos's relations and strengthen the solution to tightening up relations between the two countries.
