10. Summary of thesis results:
The results of the practical research first show that the communication characteristics of the elderly at the nursing home in Hanoi are expressed through the following characteristics: communication needs, communication objects, communication forms, and communication content of the elderly at the nursing home in Hanoi. These communication characteristics have unique and characteristic features that only exist in the elderly at the nursing home. There is a positive correlation between the aspects of the communication characteristics: the communication needs of the elderly at the nursing home are high and correlated with rich communication content and diverse communication forms. At the same time, these correlations are closely related to each other.
There are differences in communication characteristics of the elderly at nursing homes in Hanoi between private and public nursing homes. The most obvious differences are in communication content and communication form.
The communication characteristics of the elderly at the nursing home in Hanoi are influenced by subjective and objective factors. In which, the subjective factor is the personality of the elderly which has the main influence on their communication characteristics. In addition, the objective factor is the family situation which also has a significant influence on the communication characteristics of the elderly at the nursing home. The relationship between the elderly and the staff and caregivers of the nursing home is positive, the care of the nursing home is highly appreciated by the elderly, they feel comfortable living at the nursing home.
11. Practical application:
The research results of the thesis are a useful reference for nursing homes in general and caregivers and managers in nursing homes in particular to come up with appropriate psychological measures to improve the communication effectiveness of the elderly at nursing homes.
12. Further research directions:
If we have the conditions and time, we will study the topic more deeply with the factors affecting the communication of the elderly in nursing homes. Furthermore, we will increase the number of research subjects, and the scope of research will be wider in many nursing homes.

The practical study results show that the communication characteristics of the elderly in nursing home in Hanoi are expressed through the following features: communication needs, communication objects, forms of communication, communication content of the elderly at nursing home in Hanoi. The features of communication are directly correlated: the communication needs of the elderly in nursing home are correlated with the richness of communication content and the variety of communication forms. At the same time, these correlations are closely interrelated.

The communication characteristics of the elderly in Hanoi nursing home are influenced by subjective and objective factors. In addition, the objective factor which is family situation also makes a great influence on the communication characteristics of the elderly at nursing home. The research findings of the thesis are a useful reference for nursing centers in general and nurses as well as managers at nursing centers in particular to provide suitable physiological measures to improve the communication efficiency of the elderly in nursing home.

If the conditions and time are favorable, we will study further on the factors affecting the communication of the elderly at nursing home. In addition, we will increase the number of research objects for further research with broader scope of nursing centers.
