- Firstly, this thesis examines the leadership and policies of Cho Don district (Bac Kan province) regarding poverty eradication and the gradual improvement of the living standards of ethnic minority people in the district from 2001 to 2013.
Secondly, the thesis presents some assessments of the achievements and limitations of the Party Committee of Cho Don district (Bac Kan province) in leading and implementing poverty reduction programs from 2001 to 2013.
- Thirdly, the thesis draws on some experiences in the process of leading the implementation of poverty eradication by the Party Committee of Cho Don district (Bac Kan province) in the years 2001-2013, thereby proposing directions and measures to promote poverty eradication and economic development in the following years.

- The research findings of this thesis can serve as a valuable reference for the district Party Committee's poverty alleviation and economic development efforts in the coming years.
