Bac Ninh is considered a locality with many favorable potentials for developing the tourism industry, especially cultural and spiritual tourism, with a vast system of historical and cultural relics, the hometowns of many cultural figures, and many traditional craft villages... However, tourism in Bac Ninh province started late. Only in the last few years has this sector begun to develop, and this is also an important goal in the province's socio-economic development strategy in the current period.
Recognizing the importance of tourism in general, and cultural and spiritual tourism in particular, to the development of Bac Ninh province, this thesis has conducted research and discovered the potential to attract tourists, so that Bac Ninh can be better known and have a basis for formulating more appropriate development policies.
This study qualitatively analyzed the current state of cultural and spiritual tourism development in Bac Ninh province using survey data and SPSS 26.0 software. The analysis included descriptive statistics, Cronbach's Alpha reliability testing, pairwise correlation analysis (using Person correlation coefficient), and linear regression analysis. The results of this analysis formed the basis for constructing a SWOT matrix to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats aimed at improving the quality of cultural and spiritual tourism in the future. Simultaneously, it provided a basis for evaluating the effectiveness of cultural and spiritual tourism development in the province, thereby offering direct directions and promoting sustainable tourism development.
Based on survey results and in-depth interviews with locals and tourists, this thesis provides concrete evidence for the level of participation in activities and the quality of services, as well as customer satisfaction with tourism services and experiences.
