The thesis has reviewed the research on creating labor motivation for employees in 4-star hotels in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa from both theoretical and practical aspects. The thesis conducted a survey and evaluated the current situation of creating motivation for employees in 4-star hotels in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa. In 4-star hotels, most managers assessed that their staff did not work really hard because they were not motivated enough to work better. The results of this study indicate that employees need to be paid more appropriately to be motivated to work better. Besides, there are also other factors from inside and outside that affect. With that meaning, hotel leaders should use a mixture of methods, including salary policy, bonuses, promotion opportunities, creating good relationships; with praise and recognition of results, motivating people, creating job satisfaction, to encourage subordinates to work more effectively.
