10. Summary of the thesis results:
This thesis is a scholarly study on the glazed ceramics system of the Ly Dynasty at the site of 62-64 Tran Phu (Ba Dinh, Hanoi).
The classification system for glazed ceramic artifacts from the Ly Dynasty at the site of 62-64 Tran Phu Street is based on aspects such as glaze type and form.
Studying the characteristics of the glazed ceramic artifacts from the Ly Dynasty at the site of 62-64 Tran Phu Street in terms of glaze types, forms, and decorative patterns makes a positive contribution to the study of Thang Long capital.
This study aims to comprehensively compare and analyze the characteristics of Ly Dynasty glazed ceramics found at 62-64 Tran Phu Street, in order to determine the value of this system of artifacts within the glazed ceramics system of Thang Long Imperial Citadel and in relation to Ly Dynasty glazed ceramics found elsewhere.
Through the study of Ly Dynasty glazed ceramics at the site of 62-64 Tran Phu Street, we can gain a deeper understanding of the history of glazed ceramics development in Vietnam and the history of Thang Long capital during the Ly Dynasty.
The research findings of this thesis will provide and contribute to the study and understanding of Ly Dynasty glazed ceramics in terms of types, glaze styles, patterns, and manufacturing techniques. It will also serve as a source of information for understanding the characteristics of the relics in particular and Thang Long during the Ly Dynasty in general through glazed ceramic artifacts.
