10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis has contributed to clarifying some basic theoretical issues of information resource development, such as: the concept of information resources, factors affecting information resource development; researching the current state of information resource development and providing comments and assessments on the current state of information resources as well as information resource building activities at the Library of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. Based on theoretical research and practical surveys, the thesis has proposed several feasible solutions to develop information resources at the Library of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

This includes improving policies for developing information resources, strengthening the supplementation of electronic and foreign-language materials, participating in coordinating the supplementation and sharing of information resources, and raising leaders' awareness of information resource development...

- This thesis systematizes and enriches the theory of information resources in information and library science.

- The research findings of this thesis can be applied to the development of information resources at the Library of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in the current period and in the years to come.
