The thesis has contributed to clarifying some basic theoretical issues of information resource development such as: Concept of information resource, factors affecting information resource development; studying the current status of information resource development and giving comments and assessments on the current status of information resource as well as information resource building activities at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Library. Based on theoretical research and practical surveys, the thesis has proposed some feasible solutions to develop information resource at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Library.
