This is the first study focusing on researching and evaluating the current state of bilateral relations between Vietnam and Thailand in the field of trade over the past 10 years, from 2007 to 2016, a decade marked by the most brilliant achievements in trade relations between Vietnam and Thailand.

The topic highlighted the remarkable development in the fourth decade of Vietnam-Thailand trade relations compared to previous decades, in the context of the established Strategic Partnership and the opportunities offered by the strong and united ASEAN Community space, especially the AEC.

Furthermore, the study analyzes the influencing factors, existing limitations, and causes, thereby assessing prospects and proposing solutions to improve the trade balance between the two countries in the future. This aims to deepen and develop economic and trade cooperation in a more substantive way, aligning with contemporary trends while addressing the internal development needs of each country's economy.

11. Practical applications:

This thesis can serve as a basis for research and policy planning on trade between Vietnam and Thailand.

Furthermore, this thesis serves as a reference for international relations students, researchers, businesses, and readers interested in Vietnam-Thailand relations in general and Vietnam-Thailand trade relations in particular.
