10. Summary of thesis results:

The thesis focuses on studying the theoretical and practical basis of the issue of modernization in information - library activities (I-LI) at Bac Giang Provincial Library (BLB). Based on the analysis of the development trend of the modern I-LI and the survey of the current status of modernization of I-LI activities of BLB to evaluate the results that the Library has achieved, and at the same time point out the limitations and causes leading to those shortcomings. Finally, the author proposes solutions to implement modernization and improve the efficiency of I-LI activities to meet the information needs of all information users. More broadly, it contributes to socio-economic development, successfully implementing the industrialization and modernization in the period of national renovation.

In this thesis, I analyze the new trend of modern information and library, along with surveying the modernization status of information and library activities at the Library of Bac Giang province to assess the achievements of Bac Giang Library as well as point out the limitations and the reasons of these limitations. In conclusion, I propose some solutions to improve the modernization of information and library activities to satisfy all the users' demands. More broadly, these solutions contribute to socio-economic development, successfully implementing the industrialization and modernization in the Renovation of Vietnam.
