Based on an analysis of the development trends of the modern information and library sector and a survey of the current state of modernization at the Bac Giang Provincial Library, the study evaluates the achievements of the Library, identifies limitations, and outlines their causes. Finally, the author proposes solutions to implement modernization and improve the efficiency of information and library activities, meeting the information needs of all users. More broadly, it aims to contribute to socio-economic development and the successful implementation of industrialization and modernization during the period of national renewal.

The thesis focuses on theoretical and practical about the modernization of information and library activities at the Library of Bac Giang province. In this thesis, I analyze the new trend of modern information and library, along with surveying the modernization status of information and library activities at the Library of Bac Giang province to assess the achievements of Bac Giang Library as well as point out the limitations and the reasons of these limitations. In conclusion, I propose some solutions to improve the modernization of information and library activities to satisfy all the users' demands. More broadly, these solutions contribute to socio-economic development, successfully implementing the industrialization and modernization in the Renovation of Vietnam.
