This thesis systematically studies and develops theories on information needs in general and in information and library activities in particular. It identifies the current state of information needs of users at the Information and Library Center of Thai Nguyen University of Technology and the factors affecting the development of their information needs. Based on this, it provides observations, assessments, and identifies the causes of limitations in the Center's ability to meet the information needs of users. Simultaneously, it proposes feasible solutions to improve the effectiveness of services and maximize the fulfillment of information needs for users at the Center. This contributes to improving the quality and effectiveness of teaching, learning, and scientific research for faculty and students at Thai Nguyen University of Technology.
