ButThis thesis is a comprehensive and systematic study of the livelihoods and economic lives of Vietnamese migrant workers in Luangnamtha, Laos, including their methods of earning a living, income, and consumption; the resources affecting the livelihoods of Vietnamese migrant workers; and the policies of the State and local authorities towards Vietnamese workers.

ButThis thesis analyzes the main advantages and disadvantages in creating and developing livelihoods for Vietnamese migrant workers in Luangnamtha town, Luangnamtha province.

ButThis thesis initially proposes several solutions to improve the livelihoods of Vietnamese people in Luangnamtha town, Luangnamtha province, from the perspective of policy, planning, and the Vietnamese workers themselves.

11. Practical applications:

The content of this thesis can serve as a useful reference for foreign labor management agencies as well as the labor and social welfare department in Luangnamtha in researching policies regarding Vietnamese workers in Luangnamtha.

This thesis will contribute to providing material for those interested in researching the livelihoods of migrant workers, as well as contributing to raising awareness about the Vietnamese community living in Laos.
