10. Summary of the thesis results:
This study analyzed and systematized scientific concepts regarding youth union officials, some concepts of social work, and social work skills, thereby generalizing the concept of social work skills for youth union officials. Based on this, it affirmed the role of social work and the importance of cultivating social work skills for youth union officials.
The survey results show that most Youth Union officials believe they possess social work skills; however, the level of proficiency in using these skills among Youth Union officials is not high, especially in some skills related to working with the community.
Research on the awareness and needs of Youth Union officials and forms of training in social work skills for Youth Union officials concludes: (1) The awareness of Youth Union officials at all levels regarding social work and social work skills is not deep and comprehensive; (2) The social work skills acquired by Youth Union officials are mainly due to specialized training on social work skills; self-study, self-training and formal training account for a low percentage; (3) Grassroots Youth Union officials do not have much experience to develop social work skills through practical social work activities of the Youth Union organization; (4) Social work training and development programs are still heavy on theory, weak in practical skills, and do not encourage skill development for trainees.
The majority of Youth Union officials believe that equipping and developing social work skills is useful and necessary for them. The current need for social work skills training among Youth Union officials, as demonstrated through various training courses and workshops, focuses most heavily on 10 skills across all three groups of social work skills: individual, group, and community.
The most popular form of social work skills training among Youth Union officials today is specialized training on social work skills within the Youth Union's professional training program. However, this method is not yet effective due to the limited number of specialized topics structured to train social work skills. Therefore, more practical activities are needed to enhance the social work skills of Youth Union officials. In addition, some realize that to "practice" the profession, they need formal training in social work.
The thesis has put forward several recommendations on solutions to improve the effectiveness of social work skills training for Youth Union officials.
11. Practical applications:
This study proposes solutions to improve the quality of training and development of social work skills for Youth Union officials in Hanoi, and these solutions can be used as a reference and applied to improve the quality of training and development for Youth Union officials in other localities nationwide.

10. Summary of results of the thesis:
The thesis has analyzed the topic, systemized the scientific concepts of Youth Union official, some concepts of social work and social work skills, which generalize the concept of Social work skills of Youth Union official. Based on that, the role of social work and social work skills training are defined.
According to the survey result, most Youth Union officials consider themselves having acquired social work skills; however, the level mastery is not very high, especially for skills in community-related works.
In terms of perception, demand of Youth Union official and other forms of social work skills training for Union official, the researcher concludes that: (1) Awareness of Youth Union official in all levels of social work and social work skills is still shallow and incomprehensive; (2) Their social work skills are mainly due to specialized training for social work skills; Other types like self-learning, self-training and formal training account for a small proportion; (3) Youth Union official in local institutions have not experienced much to develop social work skills through practical social work activities of Youth Union organizations; (4) Training program on social work depends heavily on theory, lacks practicing skills, discouraging skill development of students.
Most Youth Union officials say that equipment and training on social work skills are helpful and necessary. Currently, due to the needs for social skills training, Youth Union officially has undergone training and fostering courses which mainly focused on 10 skills in 3 types of social work training - individuals, groups and communities.
The training form chosen by most of the Youth Union officials is specialized social skills training within the professional training program for Youth Union's works. However, this method is not efficient because the number of structured subjects to develop social work is low, therefore, it is necessary to promote more activities through practical activities to improve social work skills for Youth Union officials. Besides, a number of officials realized that to "work in reality", they need to be formally trained in social work majors.
This thesis has given a number of recommendations on measures to improve the efficiency of social work skill training activities for Youth Union official.
11. The possibility of practical application:
The thesis proposes solutions to improve the quality of training, train social work skills for Youth Union officials in Hanoi and can be used for reference and application to improve the quality of training and retraining Youth Union officials in other areas in the country.
This thesis can be used as a reference for Youth Union officials in research.
