Specifically, we focus on research and survey on the source of literature, the Anthology of Prose Poetry - Vietnam and abroad: with a total of 160 modern Vietnamese prose poems, including 23 poems before the August Revolution 1945 and 137 poems after the August Revolution 1945 to present. The thesis is divided into three chapters showing the research results as follows: - Chapter 1: Systematizing the theory of prose poetry: the concept of prose poetry, distinguishing prose poetry and some neighboring genres, the formation and development of prose poetry in Vietnam and in the world. - Chapter 2: Outlining the basic characteristics of modern Vietnamese prose poetry in terms of content and form: free verse structure, new poetic form; impressive and novel poetic images and language; abundant poetic emotions, profound philosophical qualities. - Chapter 3: Survey of the characteristics of language use in modern Vietnamese prose poetry: characteristics of rhythm, characteristics of syntax. From there, give the most general view of Vietnamese prose poetry in particular and the world in general, as well as the attractive features that make up the unique beauty of this prose poetry. 12.
